Meet Chili, a very outgoing, affectionate adult female. This quiet girl is housebroken, crate trained and already knows some basic obedience commands. Although she is very good with other dogs, she sometimes plays too rough; however she responds beautifully with just a slight correction from her foster mom. Oftentimes, these dogs are just so happy to be safe that they momentarily forget their manners! She has started obedience class and loves it! Within the next few weeks, Chili will go for her Therapy Dog Testing and Canine Good Citizen Test. Her foster mom reports that she loves her car rides and rides like a champ- very quiet and exceptionally well-mannered. Please consider adopting an adult dog- as the saying goes- what you see is what you get! Chili isn't going to suddenly go through a growth spurt, like puppies do, and she is already housebroken and crate trained. She adores everyone and is very gentle with kids. No need to worry about leaving her for several hours while you're out- Chili would do just fine with that, too! If you're interested in opening up your hear to Chili, please fill out an application and send it in. Upon receipt, a volunteer from the rescue will contact you immediately. Thank you for your interest.
