A & S Rescue is a small rescue group dedicated
to finding permanent, loving homes for American
Staffordshire Terriers and American Pit Bull
Terriers in northern Illinois.

We believe that Am Staffs and Pit Bulls have
gotten a bad reputation by having careless or
cruel owners who neglect them or use them in
illegal ways.

Under no circumstances will we place our rescue
AmStaffs or Pit Bulls into homes where the dog
will be subjected to dog fighting.  We are
strongly opposed to all forms of dog fighting
and similar forms of animal abuse.

A & S Rescue was founded in 2001 by Alise
Carrico and Silvia Simmons and i Since its
founding A & S Rescue has placed over 500
dogs.

DOG OF THE MONTH: SADIE

Have you ever seen a happier Pittie
smile?

Our beautiful 2 year old sweet Sadie girl
needs her Happily Ever After! She is a
precious little girl with tons of love to
offer. Great with dogs and kids. Loves to
play with her ball, go for walks and
snuggle. If you're looking for a dog to
jog with, Sadie is definitely your girl.
She'll run right by your side, speeding up
and slowing down as you do! A fantastic
girl!
A & S Rescue, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation, which enables us to
seek outside financial assistance. With your generous support, we are
able to save more AmStaffs and Pit Bulls.
